Amazing how this quote could not be more applicable than it is today. Over and over in the Book of Mormon we learn never to fight an offensive war (the Lord forbids it). Always stay on the defense. "Let them fire the first shot" if only that could be our motto today! Keep up the good work! Ron Paul 2012

Amen, brother! The grammar trolls either need to stay under their bridge along with the rest of the internet trolls who just want to cause contention or belittle others; or they should, as you so helpfully suggested, learn people skills. Someone who can get their point across, and has good people skills will get much further in life than a grammar troll 100% of the time.

Great post! I have a serious love/hate relationship with that show. While I love all the positive messages that are sent, there are so many negative messages that I tell myself that I really shouldn't watch it. I certainly wouldn't let my kids watch it! I keep getting drawn back by the music. Perhaps I need to just stop being a fence sitter and make a choice; the right choice to stop watching.

So true Scott. I find I need to remember that truth is truth no matter whose lips it comes from. Sometimes it is hard to seperate the message from the messenger. Especially if I am not fond of the specific messenger with a great message. The whole "judge not" thing. I guess it goes back to being teachable, no matter the souce.
BTW. Love your photography. Love your voice.

Interesting to see who President Benson calls out as deceivers! I loved a lot about my BYU experience, but was surprised to find far more corruption in some areas than I found at the community college I went to before BYU. BYU was excellent, but I'm just sayin'.

I really like the idea of learning to exist with each other in chaos. That sounds appealing.

Glad to see you're helping Mike Lee, and I think we can tell a lot about these candidates about who's backing them. Anyone can help him now, even from outside Utah thanks to a phone from home program being organized by Tea Party Express. People can email phonefromhome.tpx@gmail.com to get involved.

My current offer of support to Bridgewater is pretty simple.

He can have my support when he promises to cut government spending before, and at a considerably greater rate than his pledge to cut taxes.

His actions, words and supporters make him sound like any other Republicrat. Cut taxes, and make token spending cuts. In contrast, such a pledge to get our finances in order would at least be a measurable goal for his proposals and votes over the next 6 years. Otherwise he's Bush business as usual.

My understanding of the Energy Solutions case is that Utah wanted to limit where the waste came from (nothing outside of the US) and it was a constitutional issue: states should not be able to regulate companies on international issues, only the federal government should do that. No one talks about the specifics of the case, just that he defended the "evil monster" that is Energy Solutions. If my understanding is correct, it's even further reason to support Mike as he stands by his principles even if some people are going to make him look like a bad guy for doing it.
